Objective
The objective of this lesson is to examine Justin's thoughts after he is shot, and why he has regrets. Justin finds that being shot is much different than he had imagined. He worries about his mother and how she will feel, especially since his father died four years ago.

Class Discussion: How does Justin's mind race after he is shot? What does Justin think about being on the news? Why does he worry about his phone and a new shirt? Why does he try not to think about his mother? What does he know his getting shot will do to her? How is his mother alone? What does Justin focus on to try to stop thinking about his mother? What regrets does he have? Why does Justin have regrets after he is shot?
