Objective
We watch Travis' actions while he is strictly reacting from fear.
If we understand what fear itself is, it could help to overcome it easier than before.
The objective in this lesson is to examine fear in humans and the reactions it causes.
Lesson
1) Initiate a class discussion on their fears. What does each student fear most?
2) Write a short essay on how you came to realize your fear. Was it the result of a bad experience? Does it seem to have no rhyme or reason? How many people in your country are afflicted with this fear?
3) Break the class up into groups of three or four and have them research the scientific name of their fear (i.e., agoraphobia is a fear of open spaces). How many people in your country are afflicted with each fear? Create a pie chart to display the way the...
