Objective

"Washington's Crossing" is a history of the American Revolutionary War covering the span between the summer,1776, and the winter of early 1777. Author David Hackett Fischer has received numerous awards and much recognition for his work. The objective of Daily Lesson #1 is to consider why Mr. Fischer's work has earned such achievement.

Task #1 - Small Group Activity: Divide the class into small groups of three to four members each.
