Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss Elizabeth and Sasha's relationship in high school. Elizabeth and Sasha meet during their freshman year in high school. Sasha teaches Elizabeth things that most mothers teach their daughters.

Class Discussion: How did Sasha and Elizabeth meet and become friends? How was Elizabeth often on the outside looking in at Sasha's relationship with boys? What are things Sasha teaches Elizabeth? Why do they always hang out at Sasha's house with her mom? How are the two families different? Does that affect the friendship? What does the birthday party reveal about Elizabeth and Sasha and their relationship? How would you describe Sasha and Elizabeth's relationship in high school?
Activity: Divide the students into small groups. Have each group discuss Elizabeth's sleeping habits and how they change at Sasha's. What sleeping problems does Elizabeth have at her house? Does she...
