As a class, make a model of the area surrounding Walden Pond based on the description given by Thoreau. Include the small house Thoreau built, his bean field, and the woods.

Items to Take With you to Walden

In a circle, choose one person to name an item they would take with them to Walden Pond. The next person must list the item named by the first person before they announce what they would take with them. Continue around the circle listing all of the previous items in the order they were named before adding new items. The first person to make an error is out.
