Objective

Objective: In this chapter readers are introduced to the main character, Tarwater. The objective of this lesson is to analyze the introduction of Tarwater.

1) Group work: Students will work in groups to discuss their first impression of Tarwater. They must write a short summary of their ideas and present it to the class.
