"Something New" - "Queen of Fairies

· In “Something New,” Jenny Karlo arrives on Trowbridge Road.

· She stops in front of her mother’s house and orders her son, Ziggy, to get out of the car.

· Ziggy gets out with a ferret on his shoulder and his battered suitcase.

· Ziggy is wearing bright-colored clothing and has long red hair, like his mother.

· Nana Jean welcomes them, and she tells Jenny she is doing the right thing.

· She has made arrangements for him to start school in Newton at the end of the summer, and there will be no more bullies or teasing.

· She tells Jenny that she will worry about Ziggy, and she can “work on getting [herself] well” (3).
