Objective
From the very title, the reader gets a sense that this book is going to talk about changes and about the way stories can change depending on who tells them. Today's objective is to discuss the idea of change, what it means, and whether it's always a good thing.
Lesson
1. Have each student list five changes they have experienced in the past year.
2. In smaller groups, have students discuss whether they think change is always a good thing in their lives.
3. As a class, have the students discuss the power of change and how it can be beneficial. What happens when one refuses to change? What happens with a person who refuses to stop changing? How can change be created in one's life?
4. Homework: Have each student discuss a larger change in their life which has been a good thing for them. What happened?
