Ellie is the narrator of the story and is chosen to record the group's story. This lesson will explore Ellie's personality, which is sometimes bossy, as well as the reasons she is chosen to write the group's history.

1) Class Discussion: What is Ellie like? What qualities does she display? Is Ellie a likable person? Do you think Ellie is bossy? If so, is that always a bad thing? Why or why not? In what ways does Ellie's personality work for her? Does Ellie's personality also work against her?
