Objective
Objective: In Act 1, Scene 1, the audience is immediately propelled into the story's action, the incestuous relationship between Giovanni and Annabella. These desires will serve as motivations for many of the play's characters and the course of action of the entire play. The objective of this lesson is to understand how such a turbulent relationship could shape the play students are about to read.
