Arc of a Scythe

The title of the series to which the novel belongs, this is a play on words. The operating range of a scythe—the tool traditionally associated with supposedly impartial bringers of death—is referred to as an arc, so the name of the series denotes the involvement of a scythe’s work in its plot. Too, the progression of a character is often called an arc, so the title connotes that it will follow the character development of such a character—as is the case.
