Obituary

Choose one of the historical figures presented in the book and write an obituary presenting the person's life and death to the world. Students should share the obituary with the class.

Crossword Puzzle

Create a crossword puzzle that has both across and down answers focusing on the characters in the book and major events that took place in the lives of each character. Students should try to limit the hint to four to six words and create a key or answers to the crossword puzzle. Students should exchange their crossword puzzle with another student and grade their responses with the crossword puzzle key.
