Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss imagery and how it is used in Chapters 1-6. Imagery is a literary device authors use to describe something using the five senses to help readers experience what a character is experiencing. Imagery can help readers better imagine the sights, sounds, scents, sensations, and tastes of the characters' world.
