Draw the Map

Give students the opportunity to draw a map of Discworld, Ankh-Morpork, and the surrounding areas. How does Discworld revolve?

News Clipping

Ask students to look in their local newspaper for an article that involves some aspect of the novel and bring it to class. They will present it in front of the class and explain why it relates to the novel.

Draw a Character

Have students draw their interpretation of a character from the novel. Artistic ability is not important, but their drawings must reflect the type of costume worn by the character, whether the character is fat or thin, bald, prim, or sloppy. What colors do the characters wear?

Costume Day
