Essay Topic 1

In the first part of the book, you learn about Telek, another outsider character. Describe his character, his actions, and explain how he evolved into the man he is in the novel.

Essay Topic 2

The novel begins with an introduction by the "witch" and ends with a prologue from the "witch". Why does the author choose to do this? Is it effective? Should it be different? Explain why the author made this choice, discuss it's effectiveness and provide support.
