Design A Headdress

Re-read the passages describing the headdress worn by the Akha women and what it symbolizes. Use the internet to look at images of the headdress of Akha women and what the adornments mean. Based on what you learn, create your own headdress. Wear the finished headdress to school and do a short oral presentation about the significance of your decorative choices.

Create an Information Sheet for Travelers

Create an information sheet for tourists planning a trip to Yunnan province in China to visit an Akha village.
