Swiss Family Robinson Parody
Many have pointed out that the vast knowledge the family has, the improbable variety of plants and animals on their island, and the constant appearance of just the right thing at just the right time are all a little too convenient--and sometimes almost unintentionally comical. Write a parody of two to three pages in which you add an incident of your own to the story. Write from the father's point of view and preserve the style of the original--but poke fun at the original by introducing elements that are exaggerated to the point of silliness.
