Objective
The objective of this lesson is for students to explore the author’s background and personal interest in the subject matter reflected in "Summer of the Beautiful White Horse." Students will discuss facts about William Saroyan. Students will research information about Saroyan and analyze why he may have written "Summer of the Beautiful White Horse."
