Each structure represents a different religion and a different culture.

John Cullinane is an eminent archaeologist from the Biblical Museum in Chicago with language skills in Hebrew, Arabic, and French. An Irish Catholic educated at Harvard and Grenoble, he has traveled to Israel to excavate one of the mounds there called Tell Makor. He and his team hope to find historical clues to help complete the picture of the area's multicultural past. They hope to uncover artifacts and structures from the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Jews, Arabs, Christians, and others who have been in the area at different points in history.
