Objective

Lesson

1 - Class discussion: How would you describe the computer industry? Who are the biggest companies in computers today? How have computers changed since their invention? How have computers changed other industries? What support industries have been created for computers? Are computers a source of opportunity for young workers today?

2 - Brainstorming: As a class, brainstorm a list of components that go into the construction of a computer. Examples include microchips, semiconductors, and so on.
