Expand a Prose Passage Into a Poem
Just as Wordsworth did with Thomas Wilkinson's account of his encounter with a singing woman in the Scottish Highlands, choose a prose passage of your own and expand it into a poem. The prose passage your choose should be about 50-100 words; attach this to your work. Your poem should be longer if your prose passage is longer--between 15-30 lines, total. You may choose whether to write free verse or rhymed, metrical poetry.
