Objective
The objective of this lesson is for students to explore the author’s background and personal interest in the subject matter reflected in the novel. Ann Brashares is an American novelist best known for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. The series was adapted for the screen in 2005, and later for its sequel movie in 2008.
