Ask students to look in their local newspaper for an article that involves some aspect of the narrative and bring it to class. They will present it in front of the class and explain why it relates to the narrative or persons.
Draw a Person from the Narrative
Have students draw their interpretation of a person from the narrative. Artistic ability is not important, but their drawings must reflect the type of costume worn by the person, whether the person is fat or thin, bald, prim or slovenly. What colors do the persons wear?

Students should research the style of dress from different locations in the narrative and create a version of a costume that resembles this culture. Students can bring costumes to class for a costume day.
