Shadow Box
Use an empty shoebox to recreate a scene from the novel. Puncture a hole in one side so that the viewer can peer through and see the scene in 3-D.
Newspaper Clippings
Bring in a newspaper or magazine article that reminds you of one of the characters or scenes in The Rules of Attraction. Be prepared to discuss who, or what, this article reminds you of and why.
Alternate Ending
Write a scene giving the story an alternate ending. What might you change? How might the message of the story be different if certain elements of the storyline is different? Write a short report discussing your motivations for the plot changes.

Choose one character from the novel and create a diary written in their voice about their experiences. Each diary should have at least ten short entries and span the length of the entire novel...
