Have students watch one of the videos found and discuss the similarities and differences between Lori's behaviors and those of other schizophrenics.

Media's Representation of Schizophrenia

Have students watch one of the following films on schizophrenia. Discuss the way media colors the illness in a "Hollywood" light. What do they tend to overlook? What do they depict in a rose-colored light? Do you believe that the movies on schizophrenia show it as it is, or do they tend to soften it? Why do you believe that this happens?
