Compare and contrast - goals of the religions.

Lesson

1) Personal Application of Theme: Write on the board in large letters the words 'Goal Setting'. Have the students write out a list of goals that they are currently working towards along with a short description of how they are going about achieving these goals. Allow some volunteers to read their ideas. Discuss with the class how this activity relates to the assigned reading and religious life.

2) Class Discussion: Read aloud with the class the part talks about the main goals of Catholics. Discuss with the class whether or not this was a worthy goal to work towards. Do you think obtaining this goal helped people in their life? Why or why not? Why do you think this was so important to her?
