Objective
Oscar Wilde is the author of The Picture of Dorian Gray. He was a well known author from the Victorian Era. The objective of this lesson is to learn about Oscar Wilde in order to understand the foundation of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Lesson
Class Discussion: Who is the author of The Picture of Dorian Gray? When did he live? What else did he write? Give a brief biography of Oscar Wilde.
Activity: Divide the students into groups of three or four. Have each group create a brief biography of Oscar Wilde. When they have finished use the group biographies to create a class biography that can be used as a reference.
