· Usually the old woman’s lights go out at 8:30 p.m.
· April decides to wait until nine and then take the car.
· She grabs her guitar and uses a screwdriver to start the car to drive to the Blue Moon Café for open mic night.
· Even though she is late, a girl allows her to sign up to play and sing.
· She sits next to a man named Jim.
· He introduces her to Wisteria and Efrem, and they listen to the others there for open mic.
· When Jim notices that April is cold, he orders her some hot water—something she does not...
