Road Trip

Plan your own road trip through Central and/or South America and share your plans and ideas with the class.

Hang Man

Choose a word, phrase, or person from the story (e.g. "Lepers" or "La Ponderosa II") and use it to play "Hang Man".

Who Am I?

Write the names of people from the book on slips of paper and drop them into a hat. Have a student draw a name and, without looking at what the paper says, stick the piece of paper on his or her forehead. The student can then ask the other students "yes" or "no" questions about who "they" might possibly be in order to try and guess the person he or she has chosen. For example, if the student has drawn the name of "Ernesto," and asks if it is a man, the other students would have to answer...
