Objective
The objective of this lesson is to discuss how Max views his future, and what the author conveys about the best years of a person's life. Grownups always tell kids to enjoy their childhood because it will be the best time of their lives. Max hopes that childhood is not the best time of his life, because then he will have a terrible future.
