1. Conway was taught early on to make use of what was found in nature rather than going to a store to buy the items he needed. Discuss what types of items were most useful to Conway while living in the woods. What items did Karen Conway teach her son to make and/or use? Explain. Why would it be important to find clay? Name at least three natural items commonly used by Conway, discuss possible uses, and pros and cons of the natural items versus manufactured items.
