Book Cover Comparison

Look at the cover of the book and describe the extent to which you think the cover is representative of the book. Does the cover depict the mood of the book or give a clue as to what the book is about? Would you want to read the book based on the cover?

Artwork

Create a drawing/painting of some scene in the book. Use a quote from the text as a caption for the artwork.

Poem

Write a poem about some aspect of the book. Make sure that the mood of the poem mirrors the mood of the book.

Biographical Research

Research what happened to Primo Levi after leaving Auschwitz and writing this book. How did he live the rest of his life? What happened to him?
