Objective
The objective of this lesson is for students to explore the author’s background and personal interest in the subject matter reflected in the novel. Students will learn where the author is from, what other works she had written and how the work was received by the public. Students will research other interesting facts about Katherine Mansfield that may help in their understanding of the story.
