Movie Madness

Batman has been the central character in many movies and cartoon shows. Ask your parents/teacher for permission to watch one of the many versions. Compare it to the novel. Present your findings to the class. Be sure to include things that were loyal to the story and things that were different. Include which rendition you find more believable, the graphic novel or the cartoon/movie version.

Real Life Vigilantes

Research what happens to real life vigilantes. Reality is very different from fiction. Are they hailed as heroes? Compare some of Batman's tactics in the comics to your research on those who performed similar acts in real life. Present your findings to the class via a PowerPoint presentation. Note which parts are factual and what is pure fiction.
