Collage

Create a collage of images that are relevant to the story, "The Curse of the Pharaohs". For example, the story centers around an archaeological dig in Egypt, so an image of a sarcophagus could be included in the collage.

Hieroglyphic Rhyme

Provide students with a guide to Egyptian hieroglyphs. Have students compose a short rhyme written in Egyptian hieroglyphs, then have them trade the rhymes among themselves and translate the symbols into English.
