Objective
Chapter 1, Persistent Questions
The opening of "The Concept of Law" notes that distinguished thinkers have questioned, "what is law?" The concept of law is difficult to analyze and he discusses finding out how something is law. We have an idea of the concept of law in different contexts, such as rules forbid certain types of behavior under penalty. The first step to figure out what law is is to uncover what it is about law that has made so many people confused. The objective of this lesson is to discuss the author and his emphasis on what is law.
