Calling all Poets
Students should write their own poem in the form of Greek poets, using iambic dialogue, tetrameter or lyrics. In a form based on the student's choice, students should write a poem about one of the plays in "The Complete Plays." Students can choose to write from the perspective of one of the characters in a play and should share their poem aloud with the class.
Dress up!
As a class, students should wear clothing from ancient Greece as described in the Aristophanes' plays. This can be done by using a sheet and sandals, as well as a cloak with one solid color. Students can choose a specific character from a play to dress up as or even dress up as the author.
