The Bourgeoisie
This is the name given to that class of modern capitalists who are the owners of the means of social production. They are the employers of the wage laborer.
The Proletariat
This is the name given to that class of modern laborers who do not possess the means of production. They are thus reduced to selling their labor power in order to live.
Communism
This is a political theory first codified in the Manifesto. In general, this theory seeks to establish a classless, stateless society through the destruction of the bourgeoisie and the ascendancy of a universal proletariat.
