The Coming Plague: Newly Emerging Diseases in a World Out of Balance is a nonfiction book by Peabody, Polk, and Pulitzer Prize winning science journalist and author Laurie Garrett. In the book, Garrett warns of worldwide epidemics to come, using modern diseases to raise the alarm for a global early warning system that could help save the world.
