"The Catcher Was a Spy: The Mysterious Life of Moe Berg" is a non-fiction biography describing the complex life and career of baseball player and American spy Morris "Moe" Berg. Author Nicholas Dawidoff has many things in common with Moe Berg, the most obvious being their love of sports and their Ivy League educations. In this lesson, students are introduced to the book and will research and discuss author Nicholas Dawidoff.
