Welcome Home!

In Chapter 1 of "The Broken Cord," Michael detailed his eager return home with Adam and the welcome celebration that greeted them from family and friends. In small groups plan a party menu, and then design a banner for a welcome home party for Michael and Adam.

In Chapter 1, Michael and Adam were gifted with a Siberian husky puppy as part of the welcome home celebration. Gather pictures of various types of Siberian huskies and create a class board collage.

Happy Holidays!

In Chapter 2 of "The Broken Cord" Michael cooked an entire meal in anticipation of a home visit from social worker Denis Daigle. In small groups gather pictures of favorite holiday dishes, cut them out and affix to flat piece paperboard and laminate to create holiday placemats; to make them keepers include the recipes on the back for the dishes pictured on the front.
