The objective of this lesson is to examine the similarities and differences between the Malco and Rudy families, and the significance of their similarities and differences. Grisham relates how the similarities between how the Malco and Rudy families came to America, and their lives in their early years in the country. By the second generation of the families, they had become quite different.
