Objective
Students will complete pre-reading activities for the book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse.
Pre-reading improves young readers' comprehension and increases the chances that they will read actively. This lesson utilizes activation strategies to generate interest and asks students to preview and make predictions about the text.
