Conduct a Family Interview
Has someone in your family come to the United States from another country? Has someone in your family moved from one part of this country to another? Interview someone in your family to find out their reasons for moving and what their experience was like. Find out if they might like to speak to your class about their experiences.
Possible Interview Questions: Where did you move from/to? Why did you make this decision?
What were you hoping for? What did you find? Are there any aspects of the journey you’d like to share? Write a question of your own and have it approved by your teacher before interviewing.
