Lesson

Lead the class in a discussion about the French Riviera. Where is it located? What cities are located in the French Riviera? What images does the name conjure up for the students? Have any of the students ever lived or visited the French Riviera? What were the experiences like? What is the French Riviera known for? What can the students offer about their impressions of the area?

Divide the class into small groups and have them create a travelogue about the French Riviera. They should use images and researched facts for their presentation which should be shared with the class.
