The running theme throughout the collection is the encapsulation of the infinite or universal in the single moment. Editor Robert Shapard is a former managing editor of Western Humanities Review and has published several anthologies of contemporary short stories. In this lesson, students are introduced to the book and will research the anthology and its editors.
