Spells for Slaves

Una was bound as a slave, but the spell had a loophole. Have the students write some similar spells that would only temporarily bind a one as a slave.

Family Crests

Have the students choose one of the families from the book and create a family crest or flag that best shows what their family stood for, and what their actions showed about them.

Chapter Titles

Each chapter in this book had a very specific title. Split the class into groups and assign each group one of the chapters from the book. Have each group create a title page that shows the right feeling and content of the chapter.
