· She knows she was born during World War II.
· Adah lives in Lagos with her mother, father, and little brother, Boy.
· Her parents are from Ibuza, a town they praise so often, that Adah thinks she was unfortunate to be born in Lagos.
· The people of Ibuza are getting ready to welcome the first lawyer named Nweze in the town.
· He is returning to Nigeria after studying in the United Kingdom (U.K.).
· Adah’s brother is enrolled in school.
