Lesson

1) Class discussion: What stirred Michael's desire to go to Ceylon? Where was Michael when he had his dream? What did he see in his dream? What did he realize he had been doing during the dream? How did the dream make him feel? Why did it make him dream of Asia? How did that dream stir a desire to visit to Ceylon?

2) Partner discussion: Divide the class into groups of 2-3. During a party, what did Michael realize he would be traveling back to if he visited Ceylon? Why did his memories seem frozen? What did Michael mean when he said he slipped past his childhood? What did he hope to learn when he returned...
