Lodges

In the book, there are many times that particular individual's lodges are mentioned. Have the students make a model of a lodge according to how they were described in the book and how they perceived them to look like by reading the book. Have the students share their models with the class and explain their design.

Sign-Talker

Pretty-shield calls Linderman Sign-talker because that was the only way they could communicate to each other. Have someone in the class who knows sign language, or a guest speaker that knows sign language, speak to the class about the origin of sign language and have them teach the students some sign language.

My Medicine
